HASTINGS, Justice.
Following waiver of a jury, the defendant was convicted by trial to the court of first degree murder. He has appealed and assigns as errors that (1) the court erred in admitting into evidence a statement of the defendant obtained as a product of an illegal arrest and (2) the court erred in admitting into evidence certain items of evidence unlawfully seized from the defendant without a search warrant.
