In this personal restraint petition, petitioner challenges the guilty plea resulting in the conviction under which he is presently serving sentence. He claims an invalid plea on two grounds: the trial court failed to establish a factual basis for the plea; the plea was not "knowing and voluntary" because he was not informed of a critical element of the charge. We reject his contentions and dismiss the petition.
