In 1973 Mr. Morales-Cruz, a citizen of Nicaragua, was admitted to the United States upon an immigrant visa. In obtaining the visa he had claimed a purported marriage to an American citizen. It is now conceded that this purported marriage was fraudulent. His putative wife was already married and had been paid by appellant's brother to enter into the marriage.
