Appellant, George Escamilla, was convicted on one count of conspiring to possess and sell heroin in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 846 and three counts of aiding and abetting in the sale of heroin in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1) and 18 U.S.C. § 2. Evidence at trial revealed that DEA agent Art Rodriguez, under cover as "David Ramirez," arranged to purchase varying amounts of heroin on three different occasions from appellant's mother...
