DIXON, Chief Justice.*

Defendant John Wayne Tonubbee was charged by grand jury indictment with two counts of first degree murder (R.S. 14:30). Following a trial by jury, defendant was found guilty as charged and was sentenced to life imprisonment at hard labor without benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence. It is from this conviction and sentence which defendant appeals, urging thirty-one assignments of error.
