This is a deceptive trade practice case. Jerry D. Cameron and Jo Ann Cameron, purchasers of a house, brought this suit for treble damages against the seller's real estate agent, Terrell & Garrett, Inc., for a misrepresentation of the square footage in the house. The primary question presented is whether the Camerons are consumers within the meaning of the Deceptive Trade Practices-Consumer Protection Act (DTPA).1
