KIRSHBAUM, Judge.

Defendants, Colorado Western Development Company (Colorado Western) and Lee E. Stubblefield, appeal a trial court judgment awarding damages of $1,355,209 to plaintiffs, W. V. Kniffin and Evelyn Kniffin, on claims of breach of contract and preferential transfer. Defendants also appeal the trial court's certification of those two claims as class action claims. We affirm in part and reverse in part.
