Appellant was convicted on two counts each of armed robbery and assault with a dangerous weapon (D.C.Code §§ 22-3202, 2901, 502) arising out of a holdup of a man and a woman at gunpoint at about 10 P.M. on March 29, 1969 in the vicinity of the Dupont Plaza Hotel.
