The indictment, containing two counts, alleged that defendant committed the crime of selling a narcotic drug, by selling heroin on January 4 and 6, 1966. The sales were to an undercover agent. On January 7, 1966 defendant was arrested and within one hour he made a statement in the Assistant District Attorney's office.
