The main issue on this appeal is whether a resident defendant's temporary absence from Nevada tolls the running of the statute of limitations against a cause of action on a promissory note if service of process could have been effected, during the period of such temporary absence, by leaving a copy of the summons and complaint at the defendant's dwelling house or usual place of abode with a person of suitable age and discretion...
