An information charged petitioner and three codefendants, Jenkins, Whitfield, and Hill, with attempted armed robbery of Chester Gambucci and with assault upon him with a deadly weapon. A jury found petitioner guilty as charged. The trial court imposed concurrent sentences for the two offenses.1
