Peaslee and Oliphant appeal from the decision of the Board of Appeals which affirmed the examiner's rejection of claims 1, 3, 11 and 12 of their application1 for a patent for brazing alloys. The board reversed the examiner's rejection of claims 2, 4 and 5.

Claims 1 and 3 are representative:
