This is an action by the residuary legatees of Hyman Gordon to recover some $158,499.38 paid as estate taxes with respect to the estate of Hyman Gordon, who died November 24, 1950. Under his will, decedent left one-half of the residue of his estate to his son and daughter as trustees to pay the income to his widow, Minnie Gordon, for life.
