The appellant, Seaboard Surety Company, was the fidelity insurer of the employees of the Watts-Newsome Co., the Southern Lighting Co., and John Parks Newsome, Inc., all of Birmingham. The companies were owned by the same stockholders, operated out of one office, and were staffed by the same personnel.
