OPINION.

ARNOLD, Judge:

Respondent determined a deficiency in petitioner's income tax for the year 1938 in the amount of $1,062.81, resulting from several adjustments in petitioner's return for such year. The contested adjustment results from the disallowance by respondent of a deduction in the amount of $2,342.19 which petitioner had claimed on her 1938 income tax return because of a contribution in that amount...
