(MDC) appeals from a preliminary injunction issued by the District Court for the District of Minnesota1 in a copyright-infringement action brought by West Publishing Company (West). West's claim is based upon MDC's proposed introduction of "star pagination," keyed to West's case reports, into the LEXIS system of computer-assisted legal research.
